I don't normally post photos of people, but it seems to me that if I'm going to post one of the Bishop of New Hampshire, I really need to post one of Dr. Louie Crew. With many others, I believe that Gene Robinson would not be bishop of New Hampshire if Louie Crew hadn't joined the Episcopal Church in 1961. It's not that Gene couldn't do it on his own-- he is one of the most genuine Christians I know-- but that the way paved by the gentle, persistent Dr. Crew has kept the Episcopal Church honest. Wow! It's been almost two months since I've posted anything here. That's mostly a commentary on how busy we've been. And just as I was getting ready to post some General Convention and latest-travels photos, Bambi (x3) shows up in our backyard. It's not unheard of to have deer in our backyard (although we live in the city there is a large area of city-owned forest behind our house), but today we had not only Bambi in the backyard, but an 8 point buck in the front yard as Becky was taking out the trash.
